Rob Barker
Rob’s early career was based in the fitness industry. He completed a degree in Sports Science from Anglia Ruskin University before moving north and working as a fitness instructor and personal trainer delivering customised training programmes to improve athletic performance across multiple sports. After Qualifying as a physiotherapist from Manchester Metropolitan University Rob has worked within the NHS, Ramsay orthopaedic hospital and several private practices in the area. Rob has gained experience while working on orthopaedic and neurological wards as well as in musculoskeletal outpatient clinics. Rob currently works as a senior musculoskeletal outpatient physio within the NHS and last year started RGB Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic based in Halton. He has a specialist interest in soft tissue release, movement control and sports performance. Rob will complete the Titleist Performance Institute level 1 certification in June 2016.
Away from work, Rob met his wife Daphne 14 years ago while at school. They have been married 5 years and now have two young girls.
