Carl Hamlett – Course Manager

Carl has worked at Lancaster Golf Club for 16 years. Firstly as First Assistant then to Deputy Course Manager. Carl has recently been appointed as Course Manager. He has been in the industry since 1999 and has gained many qualifications including his HND at Myerscough College. He has an extensive and detailed knowledge of Lancaster Golf Club. He genuinely has a passion and commitment to Lancaster Golf Club. Prior to be employed at Lancaster Golf Club, Carl has worked at Golf Clubs in Scotland, Austria and various Clubs across Northern England.
In his personnel life Carl spends his spare time with his wife and 4 children, mainly walking and cycling in the Lake District.

Adam Kellett – First Assistant

Adam began his time here at Lancaster golf club as a junior member, and was always intrigued by the thought of working on a golf course.
A decade or so later he became a trainee green keeper here, where he worked for 7 enjoyable years and gained various qualifications at Myerscough college.
Adam then relocated to a golf course in Hertfordshire. This was a first assistant position and provided him with many great experiences. After a further 18 months he moved back to this area and rejoined the team at Lancaster golf club.

Adam’s great uncle, Harold Wild, was somewhat of an inspiration to him. As past captain and greens chairman in the early days, he oversaw most of the pine tree planting around the course.
He remained a member here and played golf regularly up until the remarkable age of 99 and a half!

Outside of work Adam enjoys an array of activities, some of which include music production, photography, snowsports, and of course, spending time with his family and friends

Sean Stephenson – Green keeper

Sean has worked at Lancaster golf club for over ten years and has been in the industry for fifteen years. Sean has a national diploma in sports turf which he obtained at myesrscough college also Sean is a registered first aider.
In his free time Sean likes all sports and enjoys spending time with his family.
