Hello and welcome. We hope that the information below will show you why we think Lancaster Golf Club is a great place to be, whether you are new to golf or a seasoned golfer changing clubs. We are always happy to help if you need further information or would like to visit the club.

Lancaster is a friendly, welcoming club with an active ladies section.
We have a Ladies Committee made up of volunteers and several ladies also sit on the board.
There are a variety of competitions throughout the golfing season. Weekly qualifying (for handicap purposes) and social competitions. Two weekly competition days (Tuesday and Thursday) and also some qualifying weekend competitions Away Days/Exchange Days with other clubs.
Golf throughout the winter months, with a friendly ‘turn-up and play’ game once a week.
Mixed Social competitions on several weekends throughout the year; and social evening events.
Introductory visits to the club are encouraged; please do come and visit us; meet a member of the Ladies Section; have a coffee and a tour, or a perhaps a 9-hole round with a member. Contact the Ladies Committee on ladies@lancastergc.co.uk to arrange a suitable time, or just to ask a question.
Mentoring: if, as we hope, you make the decision to join Lancaster Golf Club an experienced lady member will be available to guide you through your early stages of getting to know the club and the members.
