Coronation Shield @ LancasterGolf Club

The Coronation Shield is an annual competition held between Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham in order to `foster friendship and good will between the lady members.'  It is a medal round played off 95% course handicap and the total of the top 6 nett scores from each club will count.  35 ladies from each club play in groups of 3 (one from each club).  The winners will be the club returning the lowest combined top 6 nett scores.  Prizes will be awarded for the best nett scores in two divisions (0 - 20 and 21+ handicaps).  There will also be a prize for the lowest gross score.  The Competition rotates around the 3 participating clubs and this year it is being hosted by Morecambe Golf Club  on Tuesday 5th September.
