1. Course Set-up
On Course Items
All rakes and ball-retrievers have been removed
Ball washers and drinking fountains are not in use
Some bins have been removed
A number of benches remain on the course, please take care if you need to use them and do not touch unless you are wearing gloves – protect yourself and others
All other removables have been removed, except that stakes defining areas of the course can be treated as immovable obstructions
Hole and Flagstick
Flagsticks will be retained, they must not be touched and must be left in the hole at all times
All holes have a hole liner inserted so that all of the ball does not fall below the surface of the putting green and can be easily retrieved by handling the ball only
Practice Areas
Practice putting green and practice nets are only available for members with an imminent tee booking – for use in the 20 -10 minute period before you play ie if your tee time is 11.30am you can use these practice facilities from 11.10 until 11.20 (no more than 4 people on putting green and social distancing must be observed)
The practice facilities to the right of the second fairway remain closed.
2 Arrival and Waiting to Play
The snooker room & locker room facilities will be closed.
Players should arrive at the Club no more than 30 minutes before their tee time if you intend to practice, or 20 minutes before if you wish to turn up and play. These measures ensure we are able to comply with the social distancing and no social gathering rules – a key component of golf clubs being allowed to open.
Golfers must not gather in groups in front of the Performance Centre, John Barclay will provide guidance on the use of the Performance Centre.
Face coverings must be worn whilst in the Professional's shop.
Do not turn up if no tee time has been booked, or before the course opens for play.
