Mixed Lounge
This is the main lounge bar and is tastefully decorated to fit with the style of the room and building. You will be amazed by the huge italian marble fireplace which forms a centrepiece of the room and if your fortunate then there will be a roaring log fire for you to gather around and tell those stories of near misses and great putts.
Occasional used in conjunction with the Dining Room for those larger functions and also has the versatility to cater for many purposes.
This room also has a beautiful bay window which looks out to the 18th green and is a very popular position for observing those friends and colleagues as they finish their round of golf.
Dining Room
The Dining Room is a large expansive room with a fantastic view over the course from the bay window. This room boasts an extremely high ceiling and original old features such as the doors and fireplace. The walls are decorated with ladies competition boards showing past winners of tournaments.
The room is very versatile and is capable of holding many different types of functions from weddings to formal dinner nights. It can seat a maximum of 100 but is more comfortable around the 80-90 mark.
The room is lit by a mix of chandeliers and wall mounted torch effect lights. For special occasions the working fireplace is sometimes lit to give that extra special feel.
19TH BAR
The 19th is the smaller of the two bars and has a more relaxed and casual feel. There is a wall mounted wide screen LCD TV at one end of the room with an abundance of sports channels available. The entrance to the Snooker room is found at the far corner of the bar and the walls are decorated with the many competition winners boards.
A wide range of beverages are available including a regular guest ale which proves popular with visiting parties and members alike. New for this year is the extremely popular Magners Cider.
Cards, Dominoes and other games are available for anyone wishing to pass away the time.
The Snooker Room
Located off the 19th Bar our newly built snooker room contains a full sized snooker table, balls and cues. There are a number of tables and seats available for those who are more inclined to watch rather than play. This room can also be used for those wishing to have a quiet game of cards or dominoes away from the active area of the bar.
The Fairway
The Fairway is a small dining room which is usually used for our Dormy residents. It can seat up to 30 and is ideal for small functions. The room can also be utilised for larger meetings and as an overflow from the main dining room.
Also available for private party booking (subject to availability).
Committee Room
Formally the Ladies Room the Committee Room is suitable for a range of small meetings/conferences. Seating upto 20 people the room is available for hire for a small charge.
In the room you will find a large range of memorabilia items such as pictures, and photographs including photos of the three occasions that the Lancashire Amateur Championships have been held at Lancaster.
This room is multifunctional and is used for Board meeting, Bridge, Changing Room, Office and many more uses.
