New Local Rule - Trial for bunkers:
During the rest of winter all bunkers will be in play (unless frozen solid/completely flooded).
The golfer who finds his ball in a bunker may lift their ball and rake the area of sand and place the ball back in the bunker.
The golfer must rake their footprints when leaving the bunker.
This will mean that during periods of persistent rain when the bunkers are washed out the staffs hard work is not being washed away every day and there time can be put to other uses.
The green staff will continue to maintain bunkers during better weather in the winter to remove twigs, divots and self seeding grasses.
