ACTIVE/INACTIVE HANDICAPS
CONGU have recently announced changes to the current handicapping system. From 2010 handicaps will be annotated as Active or Inactive. To become 'Active' a player must have submitted three cards in either qualifying events or supplementary scores. Anyone who does not submit three cards within the year will have their handicap suffixed by an italic 'i'.
DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES
Distance measuring devices are now permitted at Lancaster Golf Club subject to the following local rule.
